Imported Geometry Editing in COMSOL directly

Hi,
I have a downloaded COMSOL simulation from the internet and I want to edit the geometry in that simulation.The label of the geometry node shows something like this $FILENAME$_geom1_CO1.mphbin.Do I need to have the original part geometry file that this guy has imported into COMSOL or can I edit it ?

P.S. And the simulation works eventhough I don't have the imported geometry file.
