This is my problem too! I'm going to solve a Wave like equation which (u,t) should be (u,y). c=0 and ea is a function of (u,y)
Can COMSOL solve this equation?

Hi,
Yes, you can change the names of the spatial coordinates (independent variables) under Spatial coordinates in the General section of the Settings window for the Component node in the model tree. The name of the independent variable for time is t and cannot be changed.
