Ignoring nodes of a mesh during a study step

I'm working in a multiphysics problem. In my study, I'm working with various steps, in one step I need only to take into account the nodes that do or do not accomplish certain constrain in the mesh (say, if the temperature of the neighboring nodes of a node have a temperature over a certain value, the step must take that node into account, and those who do not accomplish that constraint must not be taken into account). How can I accomplish that in COMSOL?
