The gravity term in the two-phase Darcy's law (v.5.2a)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

The two-phase Darcy's law of the version 5.2a doesn't have the gravity term.
Is there any way to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Youngmin

Dear Youngmin,

Maybe you found a solution already? But the question may interest other users as well.

The gravity term is not yet available with the Two-Phase Darcy's Law Interface. We are constantly working on improving and adding functionality, so stay tuned :-)

For now, I recommend to have a look at the following application:
www.comsol.com/model/two-phase-flow-in-column-499

Here, two Darcy's Law Interfaces are coupled where the gravity term is available. This is an alternative approach to the Two-Phase Darcy's Law Interface.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Nancy
