How to define a force quantity in Weak form PDE module of Comsol Multiphysics 4.4 ?

Hi,

I am wondering how I can add a force to one of the surfaces of my geometry in the Weak Form PDE interface of COMSOL Mutiphysics 4.4. Also, how can I define the nature of this force as compressible or tensile ? Will using a '+' or '-' convention while defining the force help to define the nature of the force ?
