what is the meaning of expression acos(mbd.hgj3.e1z)?

Hi,

To find the definition of any variable:

1. Switch on display of tags in the model tree.

You will then see that this variable comes from

mbd: Multibody Dynamics
hgj3: Inner Gimbal-Spinning Disc (which is HinGe Joint 3)

2. Turn on Equation View and look at the variables in the Inner Gimbal-Spinning Disc node. See attached screenshot, which shows that it is 'Joint axis, z component'.
