Hi everyone
i'm trying to simulate corona discharge between two electrodes in comsol 5.2
the mesh is triangular with boundary layer mesh.
i have built my model based on the example in the software's application libraries
but with different meshes the following errors have occured:

Failed to find consistent initial values.
Last time step is not converged.

can anyone help me with this? i would be very appreciated

Hi,
I have the same problem in plasma DBD discharge.
I have used a very very small mesh ==> the calculation stop in "matrix factorization" after some milliseconds of physical time.
I have used an iterative solver ==> my calculation converged but i have false results
Do you have find a solution ?
Good luck
