Hello everyone,

I am new in comsol. I am using comsol V4.0a.

I am trying to simulate of electromagnetic force problem.

But I am having the following prob.

Failed to evaluate variable Jacobian. -

Variable: mat.nu ,

Geometry: 1, Domain: 1


I cant find out the error.Please help me.

Hi

you try to calculate your mechanical problem also in the air domain. Then there are missing material parameters, e.g. Poisson ratio for air. If you want to calculate mechanical behaviour in the metal domains just deselect the air from the "solid mechanics" tab.

I have same prob with my model ( V 4.1 a )
as you said I removed air from domain but still have same porb.
would you please check it for me?
