Modeling High Pressure CFD model

Have anyone tried modeling simple fuild flow in high pressure (say 50 atm)? When I try to simulate simple pipe flow or flow over a flat plate with a initial pressure of 50 atm, it does not converge, it does not even converge for 3 atm pressure! My working fluid is Air.

Have you checked the physical properties of the fluid at such a high pressure?
Comsol uses some equations to calculate the physical properties such as viscosity, density, ... which are valid within a certain range. They may decrease or increase drastically far away from the upper/lower bands. Try to define your own equations (or assign a reasonable constant value) and see if it converges.
