Diffraction Grating

Problem: When I simulate the diffraction grating, I face with an interesting and wrong result. When I shine two parallel rays on a diffraction grating surface, the Module does not consider two rays as a beam, and solves the diffraction grating equations independently for these two rays (it does not consider the interference between the rays). What I expect as a correct answer is that, the module must assume these two rays as a beam, then solve the diffraction grating equations, because, in practice, we shine millions of rays on a diffraction grating and get the interference pattern (waves interference) at different diffraction orders.
For example, if I want to simulate the number of illuminated grooves effect on the diffracted beams, it is not possible, because it considers the rays independently.
