DC Railway Stray Current

I am trying to model the stray current phenomenon in DC railway traction systems and wanted to know if any of you have already worked on this subject.
I wanted to model some simple geometry (rail with current + burried pipe in homogeneous soil) and to find the transmission lines parameters (serie resistance and leakage conductance) for the rail and the pipe. To do so I just evaluate the current leaving the pipe or rail per meter and divide it by the electrical potential on this segment to find the leakage conductance.
If anyone has already worked on this subject and had a different approach I would be interested.
Best regards,
