Perfect Parametric Mirror in Ray Optics Module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone!

I have to simulate the divergence of a ray beam emitted in the focus point of a parabolic mirror from an extended spherical emitter. Creating the parabola in 2d works perfectly fine using a parametric curve, but how do I tell COMSOL to treat this curve as a perfect mirror? Everything should be done in the Ray Optics Module. Applying a thin surface with reflectivity 1 results in rays ignoring the curve.

Thank you very much in advance!
