Managing geometries with many geometric objects

I am curious what are some good practices when you have geometries involving many objects, even you use operations like array, rotate, etc. I have yet to located resources or previous forum post on this issue.

One example I am working on is a the heat transfer in a vacuum chamber. Initially, I been defining parameters for all the dimensions and positions of the shapes use to make geometries I need. Though this list is getting really big. I been intending to export this geometry in another .mph where I can do the actual modeling.

I am only familiar with 2D drawing with AutoCAD, so I assume I can build this geometry in COMSOL by the time I can figure out 3D drawing in AutoCAD or Solidworks.
