Modelling Wave Propagation

Hi,

I'm trying to model the propagation of a single pressure pulse through a spherical medium starting at a single point source. My setup is as follows:

I am using the Transient Solver.

Two concentric spheres with the inner one being empty. The space between the inner sphere and outer sphere is filled with fluid (water/air).

The inner boundaries are given spherical radiation boundary condition with Po= f(t). f(t) being some function of time or constant. I want to ask this question as simply as possible so for the purposes of this Po=constant or Po=rect.

How can I model the actual propagation/movement of the pressure pulse through the medium?

When I look at the results, the pressure changes at different times as expected but it is the same throughout the entire medium. The sphere changes color in time, but at each step in time, the whole sphere is the same color (same pressure).

I would expect to see an increased pressure starting at the inner sphere and moving outwards radially.

I figured my time resolution was too bulky (using the default 0.1 second time step) but when I changed this to .001, I did not see a difference.

Thanks.

I can post up my model if necessary.
