enthalpy formulation for phase change

I solved

dh/dt=d/dx(alpha*dh/dx)-rho*latentheat*d(liquidfraction)/dt.

I took

partial differentiation operator : pd(fl(T),t)

into the source term "rho*latentheat*d(liquidfraction)/dt"

But I couldn't find any difference with source term=0.

fl(T) was T dependent variable : '1*(T>Tref)'

plz help ~

thank you

Hi.

Did you solve your problem with the phase change?

I have a big trouble with this.....in a concentric tube heat exchanger where steam becomes liquid and i don´t know how to model this situation. help me plz

Thanks
