Defining mass flow rate at inlets in CFD model

I have a CFD model with three circular openings for burners, that are together defined as one inlet. I enter the mass flow rate - does this value deal with all three openings? Does it mean, at each opening 1/3rd of the mass flow rate is defined as boundary condition?
I would say yes, because in the User Guide I found that: "This option sets the integrated mass flow across the entire boundary to a specific value."
I just want to make sure that I calculate with the correct value. Thanks already,
Birgit
