Stop simulations if strain is too large

Hey there,

is there a way to stop the solver of my indentation simulation whenever the z-component of the stress tensor at a given point becomes too large? Do I have to define a variable and a probe at the given point? How can I make the solver stop the simulation?

Thanks for your replies and best wishes from Erlangen (Germany),

Jochen

Hi,
you can use a parametric solver and then set a stopping condition (from solver configuration, add a parametri solver and then, by right clicking, add a stop condition).

Hope this help!

Pasquale
