transcedental function

Is COMSOL able to solve numerically for transcendental functions? I am attempting to model a transient heat transfer problem. However, one of the parameters that I intend to use is a function of temperature that follows the transcendental function
M(T)=tanh(R*M(T))
where M(T) is the parameter that needs to be evaluated and R is a constant. Can COMSOL somehow, evaluate this kind of functions?
Thank you.
Best regards,
EH
