Hey Guys,

I am new to Comsol and I am stuck trying to build a simple representation of a fish's fin moving through water. Basically I need to create a fin (rectangular solid) surrounded by a water, pinned at one end and rotating with a constant rotational speed. Once I have that part done the next step would be to figure out how to get the support reaction force in the lateral direction at the pinned location versus the rotational angle of the fin (measured from the horizontal axis). Lastly I also need to determine how to measure the required torque to keep the fin speeding at the constant rotational angle. Any advice or tutorials someone could point me in the direction of would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,

Casey St.Fleur
