Asking a similar question as the archived discussion above. How to set the initial velocity (actual velocity at t=0) of a liquid droplet (fluid 1) hitting onto a rigid substrate? We can set initial value for fluid 1, but should this be the initial guess of the transient calculation?
What I am doing currently is to move the substrate (moving wall/mesh) instead of the droplet, but I am sure this is not the best solution.
