check Convergence by decreasing mesh size and time steps

There is a ready example in Comsol for capillary tube levelset. I wanted to check convergency of result by decreasing the mesh size to see if the final bulk velocity will converge to some value... I also, did consider decreasing time steps to keep CFL condition valid. But, the problem is as I decreas mesh size the flow velocity decreas continously and does not converge to any number! I really appreciate it if someone tell me if I am doing some thing wrong in checking convergency? Best, Hojjat

Hi Hojjat,

Without seeing your model it's difficult to tell if you indeed have a CV problem or if you should just keep on decreasing the mesh size until the solution is stable.

Have you tried following the tips of this knowledge base entry? : https://www.comsol.com/support/knowledgebase/1261
