Specification for a work station to run 3D simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear COMSOL users, I would like to get a work station for running my COMSOL Simulation (Both 3D and 2D). I need some assistance in the specification of the machine. Can you Please tell me which type of work station could be most suitable for my work? Please specify everything clearly so that I can go for that easily. Thanks, and Regards Danish

You will want to look at

https://www.comsol.com/system-requirements

How much you go beyond the minimum requirements depends on how big your problems are. Some 3D simulations run OK on a basic laptop.

Hello Danish,

In addition to the system requirements page, which only tells you about the minimum specifications, this page should help you spec out a new machine: Support Knowledge Base entry 866.

Best regards,

Jeff
