Applying a sinusoidal pressure disturbance on a surface to get frequency sweep

Hi! I would like to apply a sinusoidal function to see the answer of the domain to such kind of excitation. Now I don't know if I am using the correct method. I use the maxop1 to find the pressure peaks and then I select a pressure boundary to which I give a value, lets say 10000 Pa, to impose the excitation in the frequency domain. If I want to do it with a wave varying in time I have to change the study from frequency domain to time domain, right? Then, another question: what do I do exactly when I use the frequency sweep function? and which is the difference with parametric sweep? lastly, in the function definition I can define a sinusoidal function, but there is no option to apply it on the boundary I want, thing that instead I can do with maxop. why?
