Band gap lines in materials regarding

Hi i am having trouble understanding the lines come as a result in doing bandgap analysis. There are several lines alomost 8 in total and they are varying when plotted Freqnecy against Brilloin zones K. It would be great if someone recommends some reference of what these lines are
