I want to simulate a dielectric dimer having a small gap. The source is a point electric dipole that will emit EM radiation. The source will be placed in the middle of the gap. This will be a 3D problem. I found that point electric dipole can be placed in the Physics interface. However I do not understand how to put a background incident field/power for the source. Also I want to know what does it mean by dipole moment direction and magnitude. How they are linked to incident field/power?
