How to calculate deformed area ?

Hi, In my 2D geometry a tiny circular hole is at the interface of two body, which is defored as simulation going on using step loading boundary conditions.

I want to calculate the new area of deformed hole, how can I do this?

Thank you very much for your reply, actualy in my model a hole is increases with time due to creep.

I want to plot the area of hole with time. I successfuly plot this using the method provided in the link given by you. Thanks for your valuable suggenstions. Shyam
