importing parameters from text file, overwriting existing ones?

Hello, in an external C++ analysis code I am doing some calculations, and then store the parameters in a .txt file. These parameters should then be imported into comsol, for an updated simulation. However, if I import these parameters, they are appended as new rows, rather than overwriting the existing parameters. Can this be achieved? (Without the LiveLink module - I do not want to write an Excel file, and also pay some keuros). Thanks Daniel
