Electric Field Amplitude for Eigenfrequencies

Hello all,
I've begun using COMSOL recently and had a question about the electric field from solving for eigenfrequencies. I was solving a simple cylindrical cavity to familiarize myself with COMSOL for a more complex problem, and noticed that I could get the values for the electric field components for the solved eigenfrequencies. What I don't understand is where the values for the electric field are derived from in this case, I haven't seen anything like an amplitude for an electric field that would be applied to give the values throughout the cavity for each given eigenfrequency.
Thanks for your time.
