Gaussia Heat Pulse in spatial and Temporal Domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi All,

I am trying to develop a model where I use Gaussian pulse in time and space domain as heat pulse. I am doing it in 2D, where my geometry is a simple rectangle with certain length 'x' and height 'y'. My problem is I want to use boundary heat source (unit w/m^2) but even after applying boundary heat source I see that it is insulated and does not get overridden. But when I use heat flux it overrides this boundary.
I would really appreciate if someone knows why does it happen?

Regards
