hydrostatic pore pressure in poroelastic model

My model is a block in the subsurface spanning about 1-3 km depth. This whole block is saturated with water and the pore pressure is hydrostatic.
How may I impose this initial pore pressure to my poroelastic model that couples Solid Mechanics and Darcy's Law?
I have set the in situ stresses and the pore pressure using the External Stress node. My model includes an injection well that will affect the stress state including pore pressure over time. Since the initial pore pressure does not affect the initial stress state, I'm uncertain if I need to apply additional pressure conditions under Darcy's Law, as I have not found an example in the Application Library that does this.
Thank you!
