Assigning a temperature value for a point in the model

[start here]I want to give a single temperature value to the centre of the circle of the simulation that I am doing right now. But I can not give the temperature value. Can someone please help me? thank you

Hi Sahitha,

It is possible to assign a temperature to a point, but it is not recommended because you introduce a singularity in the model.

Right-click the Heat Transfer in Solids node (for example), and choose Pointwise Constraint from the Points submenu. Assign it to a point in the geometry (which you can create by adding a Point geometry object), and then add a constraint expression such as T-293[K] to set the temperature in that point to 293 K.
