Electrostatic force calculation in AC/DC module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, all

Recently I have noticed in some models available on the comsol website that electrostatic forces can be easily computed by defining simply the name of the force (e.g. Fes) in the force tab of the subdomain settings dialogue box. However these models include straight flat bondaries. I want to know whether we can use this method in cases where the domian boundaries are curved rather than being simply flat. Also I have noticed that these electrostatic forces are only calculated on boundaries where high voltage is applied but can we calculate them on other boundaries as well?

Regards
