Rigid connector boundary vs symmetry boundary

hello,
I was wondering which is better to constraint rotation in x y and z direction. and a more detail explanation about the rigid connector boundary vs symmetry boundary
overall i need a no-rotation boundary that have no sliding or rolling on my model. but not sure which is better.
