Comsol cannot recognize variable x

Hi,

I am running an electromagnetic wave (rfw) calculation in 3D.
When I try to use port excitation and specify the incident field using E0*exp(-j*kx*x), the unit "V/m" turns to red color. I find that this is whenever I include the x variable. This was not like this before, but now it is happening and I do not understand what the problem is.

Does anybody have this kind of problem?
