Sharp Fluid-Fluid Interface

I’m new to COMSOL, and I was hoping someone here would be able to help me. I am trying to model fluid displacement in a pipe. I could use the two-phase flow module, but I don’t need that level of precision for my application and it seems to greatly increase computation time. I really just need a perfectly sharp interface, and even assuming plug flow would be sufficient for now. Is there a way to implement this? Thanks!

Hi
make a cylinder for your liquid, the external cylindrical surface is your "sharp" I/F or didn't I catch your right ?
if you want to model the "solid" wall and the fluid, make a cylinder and add a thin "layer" for the wall

You could use two phase flow-ALE module to simulate the oil displacement; the other options are level-set or phase-field. If you do not expect large deformations or topological changes then ALE could be used. You may also want to read the following:
