compressible navier stokes coefficient form pde

Hi All,

I am trying to study the interaction of acoustic wave on a fluid. For this I model the compressible navier stokes equation using the coefficient form pde.....I have added two pde (physics) - one for the u and v momentum equations and the other one with dependent variable as rho (density).....

Now to close the system of equations I need to add an equation of state which relates pressure to density by p=co^2*rho where co is the acoustic wave speed in the fluid.........

But I am not sure, as to how I can input the equation of state....should I add another pde with pressure p as the dependent variable? or can I just replace the pressure term px or py appearing in the momentum equation with co^2*rho?

If someone could help me with this, it would really helpful....

Regards,
Rahul
