Prescribe number of Meshing Elements

for a model of simple geometry (sphere) and fixed volume, is there a way to define a specific number of meshing elements? I am trying to solve my system with a specific number of elements and also I want to perform a mesh refinement study with the number of mesh elements increasing uniformly; I want to know how is it possible to manipulate COMSOL meshing parameters to have a specific amount of meshing elements for a simple geometric shape of fixed volume.
