Anisotropic simulation of a boat

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,
In our project we're simulating the warpage of a bost we're building, using a composite of fiber glass and resin. For the simulation we're having problems mapping the surface because of the anisotropic material properties caused by the different fiber orientations in the different layers.
Does somebody have a tutorial or know how to adapt the coordinate system to this anisotropic 3D problem? Attached is a picture of the shape of the boat and one of the different layers disposition.
Thank you!
