Fluid Structure Interaction

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am trying to find out if there is a possibility to define and solve for a fluid structure interaction problem with a moving solid body within fluid surroundings (e.g. a ball of ice in a glass of still water). I tried to look for a similar example in the Model Library, and all that I could find was the "Flow past a cylinder" model. The difference between this nice example and what I'm trying to model is that the computational domains are acting vice-versa: in my case, the fluid is still (wall no-slip BCs) while the solid (rigid) body is moving inside it due to an applied external force.
Any suggestions or example models are gratefully welcomed.
