Chaotic Response of Beam vibration

Hello everyone,

I have a very general question about COMSOL.

There is a permanent magnet placed on the tip of a cantilever beam. Another permanent magnet is placed close to the beam tip but does not contact. Because of the impulsive force between magnets, the cantilever beam is bistable. If the cantilever is excited by a base acceleration, it will exhibit chaotic response.

Can the COMSOL structural mechanics module handle this kind of simulation? I cannot find any tutorial models about this topic.
