2D object in a 3D model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All,

I am a new COMSOL user and I would really appreciate if you could help me with the following issue:

I created a 2-D object in 3D. Then, I added a 3D object in front of the 2-D one. I want to add this 2-D object into the "Electromagnetic waves, frequency domain (emw)" solution but I cannot even select it. Is there a way to treat such 2-D objects (drawn in 3-D) as if they are 3-D such as assigning material to them, including them into the physics module and so forth ?

Thanking you in advance,

M.
