apply unit strain field

My model is a 1X1 square with rectangel mesh, in plane stress assumption, how to apply unit strain field in each element instead of load and also constrained by periodic condition. Second, I want it has the same deformation without periodic condition, and get the corresponding displacement vector. How to do it. thank you guys.
