Hi,
I would like to model an electric field between a live electrode and a ground electrode. The voltage to the live electrode is supplied as a square wave, and I am interested in the "time-average" shape of the electric field.
1. Which physics is appropriate to use here: Is it ok to model it with electrostatics and just assign a fixed potential to the live electrode?
Or will magnetic effects arise from the square wave voltage and will theses affect the "time-average" appearance of the electric field?
2. If es is not enough to model this, then what would be the best way to model it in COMSOL?
