RF heating combined with ODE

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,

I am only the beginner to develop model using COMSOL.

I have tried to add global equation in microwave heating module (Model: microwave_oven in RF and microwave engineering model library). But I keep failing to develop the model.

In global equation, I typed as following:

N=-Ke*N0 (The original equation is the first order reaction kinetic dN/dt=-kt).

Initial value(u_0) was 0, and initial value (u_to) was 10E8

And I defined Ke as variables like Ke=12/(X_1*10^((Tref-intop1(T))/TH)).

Intop1 is integration of domain for potato (Domain 3).

However, whenever my model was computed, the error message (FAILED TO EVALUATE VARIABLE JACOBIAN, Variable) was popped up.

How can I solve this problem?
If you know, could you share your solution to figure out this problem?
Thank you.
