Switching timestep to lower value

Hej hej,

Is it possible in Comsol 4.4 to dictated the timestep?
I am using a time dependent solver in order to solve a thermal regime and an ale. At a certain point in my calculation I need to reduce the timestep dramatically (at the moment I am using the free timestepping tool, which reduces the time step not enough).

So is there a way to tell the free timestepping tool to reduce the timestepping even more when a certain case is reached ?

Thanks for your ideas.

Best wishes
Leonard
