Bending a piezolectric composite

Hi,

Can I bend a piezoelectric composite like the one in attached image, where each end of the sheet is free to move. I tried by applying equal force in opposite directions(y-axis) with a small offset force on both end along z-axis but I get following error.

Failed to find a solution.
The relative residual (2.1) is greater than the relative tolerance.
Returned solution is not converged.

I guess error is because there is a net force along z-axis. Do I need to change force orientation. Please help.
