Degrees of Freedom proportional to Computational Overhead

Hi,
I would like to quantify the computational efficiency of one model over another. For example, one model has 22979 DOF and another 4337 DOF. Do these values relate directly to the computational efficiency of the models?
I am looking at high simulation runs using a Monte Carlo technique and the computational efficiency of the model is very important. Therefore, I would like to discover a metric at the design stage that would help determine efficiency of one model over another.

Hi
Yes the DOF are linked to the calculation efficiency, the best way to understand further is to try a search of DOF on the Comsol Knowledge base
