Solid into solid reaction

I'm new to COMSOL and I'm trying to model the conversion of a biomass particle into charcoal using the Arrhenius equation. I'm using HT in solids to model the heating of the particle, however I can't find any way to model the reaction. I thought about trying phase change, however I don't think it's possible to use Arrhenius that way. I tried looking for examples but I'm unable to find anything similar. Is it possible to model a solid reacting, resulting in another solid as the product?
