rounding heat flux

Hello,

I would like to make a heat flux turn around a circle, and I don't know how. Could you explain me please?
More precisely, I would like to make a Gaussian pulse turn around my circle, but it's just a bonus for me.

Thank you in advance :)

Hi

have you though of defining a cylindrical coordinate at your circle centre and apply the Gaussian shape in the "sys2.phi" coordinates?

Good luck

Hello,

I have no knowledge in Comsol, just started few days ago. I found how to create a cylindrical system but still don't know how to use it in equations. Could you tell me how I can create a heat flux which is at the point given by a cylindrical equation?

Thank you
