why do we have to add a dynamic viscosity to a type of solid material

Hi. When I add a solid material, it reminds me to add a dynamic viscosity to the material. It makes me feel confused as I think that a solid material does not have such a property .
Can someone help me solve this problem?

same problem here...for aluminium selection, i was forced to give a value to dynamic viscosity...dont know what to do

Make sure to turn off the fluid flow physics in the domain where you don't want it solved.

While I am doing the simulation of a fingertip which is touching a flat surface and when it is moving, so you mean I need to add the dynamic viscosity of the skin so that I will have a feeling how the skin is connected to the surface when it is moving?
